We will design and supply large warning signs to to meet your requirements for you to erect in prominent positions at the property concerned as this is a key requirement to effective car park management on private land.

You will then be issued with legally enforceable Parking Charge Tickets which will allow you (or a nominated person) to issue to any vehicle which is parked on your land in a way to receive a charge as part of your overall plan for car park management on private land.

You can issue a charge in 1 of 2 ways :

The most popular is our “ticket to windscreen” – by this you simply issue the ticket, take a photograph of the vehicle with the ticket, signage and registration number in clear view and then enter this online or  sent by post – that is your work done and leave the rest to us.

We appreciate there maybe sites where issuing the charge to the vehicle would be difficult and in these cases you can use our “Click Charge” product – this allows you to simply take a photograph of the vehicle with the signage in clear view and upload this to our database – we then issue the charge to the registered keeper via post for them to pay, appeal or supply us with the details of the driver so we can then issue the charge to them.

Once we have collected the parking charge, you will receive £15 for each ticket (using our free setup system, or £25 if you have pre-purchased the signs)  – This is paid to you via BACS automatically with no need for you to submit invoices.

Once the ticket has been issued we deal with all correspondence with the driver, there may be times that we need to validate certain information (eg: an appeal) but all enforcement action is taken by our office with no reference to yourselves.

We also find that at a large number of sites the presence of our signs alone resolve your parking issues and allow you to achieve your goal of perfect car park management on private land without the need to ever issue a charge, but you are safe in the knowledge that if you ever issue a charge then Combined Parking Solutions is the number 1 company in the UK for enforcing unpaid charges.

We utilise Schedule 4, Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 in order to rely on keeper liability in England & Wales – this means that subject to certain qualifying conditions we can hold the registered keeper of the vehicle liable for the parking charges when we do not know the name & address of the driver – The law changed in 2012 to ensure that people could not evade liability by claiming not to know the driver of the vehicle at a set time – this way we ensure that you achieve your goal of perfect car park management on private land.

All self ticketers will need to be approved by the IPC in order to issue tickets, this is a requirement set out in the code of practice and all parking companies who perform car park management on private land are subject to this requirement and is a fee of £15 charged by the IPC for a 2yr license (only 1 is required per site).
